Autumn at St Cuthbert's

We’ve had a jam-packed Autumn term here at St Cuthbert’s! From our harvest service back in September, where we celebrated with a wonderful shared lunch together and donations to the local food bank, to our special Choral Evensong for Remembrance Sunday in November, to co-ordinating the multi-church choir that sang at Darlington’s Lights Switch-On this weekend. In between all of this, both Youth and Adult Alpha courses have launched and been well-attended, and we’ve been running lots of singing sessions for our local primary and secondary schools.

This last weekend, the PCC and staff team at St Cuthbert’s had an away-day at the beautiful Auckland Project to celebrate all God is doing with us as a church, and to spend some time planning and looking to the future. We had a wonderful day together, including lots of worship, planning, prayer, discussion and creativity.

The Christmas season is now fast approaching, and we have an enormous number of community events, carol services, schools visits and Christmas celebrations in the pipeline! Keep your eyes peeled on our website and social media for more details!
