Heritage Open Day

St Cuthbert’s Heritage Open Day 2023

We had such a wonderful time on Saturday opening up St Cuthbert’s for this year’s Heritage Open Day! Around 170 people joined us for organ recitals, tours of the building and bell tower, tea and cake, gospel zumba, or just to enjoy being in this beautiful space. To everyone who visited, toured, baked, drank tea, danced, made music, hosted, or just came to soak up the atmosphere, thank you for being with us!

Over the course of the coming year there will be various events to raise money for Future Foundations - a project to safeguard the long-term future of our historic Grade 1 listed building, while transforming it into a vibrant hub of worship, heritage and culture for the whole community.  Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page for future events, which we would be delighted to welcome you to.

St Cuthbert’s Church is open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-1pm, and for Sunday worship at 11am.
